These are characters that frequently show up in my cartoons; I’d love for you to get to know them.

Mizzy

Mizzy is a large monitor lizard, and for years has been a caricature of myself..or rather, the brash,foul-tempered undisciplined side of myself. Once known as Lizzy,she is renamed for Vic Mizzy, an American composer for television and movies whose best known works are the themes to the 1960s television shows Green Acres and The Addams Family.

Nate

Nate is a rather small iguana, and seems to fall victim to repeated abuse by Mizzy. He also serves as an “everyman” in my cartoons; or, rather, the “everylizard”. Nate has a clear sense of right and wrong and strives to be polite.
